Learn to taste wine: A workshop for absolute beginners

Salt The Radish, 45 Blackstock RoadIf you know you like a nice bottle of (insert your fave colour here!) but are never quite sure why (maybe you feel the panic start to rise when a waiter starts talking about body/climate/notes of wild autumn stone fruits etc!) well this is the workshop for you!
Over a relaxed two hours in a small group, we’ll give you a crash course in the basics of how to taste wine.
We’ll cover common terms used in bars & wine shops, we’ll have lots of practical exercises in tasting (aka sipping lots of different wines!), and we’ll also have a very simple intro to wine & food pairings.
Oh, and we may also have a brief rant about how the patriarchy has made all this info feel so inaccessible in the first place!
The workshop will aim to leave you feeling more confident and knowledgeable out in the world exploring wine for yourself!

Tickets include: All taster wines, food for sampling purposes + a tasting sheet to take away. Please note the only food available is for tasting purposes - we recommend eating before coming! Please notify us at booking of any dietary requirements.
Cancellations: Tickets are non-refundable, but if the event sells out and we can re-sell your ticket to the waitlist, you will have the option of transferring your ticket to another event or receiving a 90% refund. Please notify us asap if you need to cancel.
