Join us for some witchy ‘Hallowine’ fun on Thursday 30th October!
We’re joining forces with In Vino Veritas on Well St in Hackney, the perfect venue for the evening’s festivities!
As well as our ‘Hallowine’ special edition of our SIP tasting, we’ll have mini tarot & palm reading sessions from Laura & Asha, plus Mikayla will be joining us with her typewriter to write you your very own poem!
Plus the usual cocktails, snacks, and an excellent playlist!
In conjunction with our hosts In VINO VERITAS we’ll be taking you through a fun ‘Hallowine’ themed tasting! Think quirky, think fun, and of course, a little spooky ;)
SIP is our fun & relaxed tasting experience. There’s no complicated wine chat - we’ll give you a bit of info on each wine, a guide to what you might taste, and then encourage you to explore for yourself and see what you enjoy!
Your ticket includes 4 x 75ml taster glasses of wine. Additional glasses available for purchase.

Laura uses Tarot as a tool for self development, creative inspiration and psychological insight.
‘Tarot is a way to connect to others, and that’s why to read at the FWB is such an honour. People are having fun togethar while at the same time exploring bits of themseves. FWB give people the opportunity to be curious and introspective at the same time creating a unique safe space‘
She uses Tarot de Marseilles rebuilt by Camoin and Jodorosky, and has studied and still studies with different teachers from different traditions.

Typewriter poetry
with Mikayla
The process is simple: come to Mikayla with anything on your heart, and they'll write you a one-of-a-kind poem based on your conversation!
Poems will be written during your session, and gift-wrapped for you to take home.

Mikayla Elias is a poet from Nashville, Tennessee.
They attended Queen Mary, University of London for a Masters in Creative Writing and now live in London with their beautiful fiancé. Their guilty pleasure? Stealing the spotlight at karaoke.

The Evening
Join us 6:30-11pm
We’ll be open from 6:30pm for cocktails, with the tasting starting at around 7:30pm.
Julie will be giving personal readings across the evening on a first-come-first served basis.
We’ll be open until 11pm so hang out after the tasting for another glass of your favourite or just to chat!
Private & Communal Tables
You have the option to book a private table for your group, or to join one of our communal tables and meet others.

Cocktails & Snacks
We may be a wine bar but cocktails have a BIG place in our heart!
Our tasting nights kick off with the opportunity for a cheeky cocktail first, and Hallowine is no exception! Expect some fun Halloween themed options on the list!
We also have a good selection of snack plates for you to munch on through your evening, including vegan, veggie, meat & fish options.
It’s hugely helpful to us to pre-order your snacks in advance to help us ensure we have enough on the night, and to help reduce waste.

- We recommend advance booking for readings (add to cart above) as these sessions usually sell out ahead of the evening. They don’t need to booked when booking tickets, but if you are booking separately, please include the name you ticket has been booked under.

Tickets are non-refundable, but if the event sells out and we can re-sell your ticket to the waitlist, you will receive a 90% refund.

Our nights are somewhere to come and have a good time with friends & lovers, while drinking fun & interesting wines, and also hopefully somewhere to be inspired, and have interesting conversations and new experiences.
