Girl Boss God ‘SPILLS’

Friday 30th June

📍Salt The Radish, Finsbury Park

Join the FWB for a special edition of SPILL with GirlBossGod, a high-energy musical-comedy act sent from Heaven from international award-winning performer Alison Arnopp.

SPILL is our wine tasting event with a twist - 4 delicious wines are poured & paired with 4 fun conversation prompts for your table.

For this special, God will be entertaining us between rounds of SPILL, as well as providing us with the conversation prompts.

‘SPILL’ is our wine tasting with a fun little twist!

As we pour each wine we offer a conversation prompt for your group, usually inspired by the wine, but this month GirlBossGod will be selecting the prompts for us!

You’ll taste four wines that we have recently loved, a mix of colour and styles, that are generally natural, accessible, and interesting!

What are the conversation prompts usually like, I hear you wonder…

Good Q! This cheeky little bottle of ‘White Lies’ was the first wine at our recent orange tasting - and the prompt that kickstarted the evening:

‘What was the last little white lie you told?’

Tickets

We’ll be running things a little differently for this edition of SPILL. Tickets are £45 (£40 on earlybird until Weds 14th June) and include your 4 taster glasses of wine, entertainment with God, and snacks to nibble on.

We’ll be kicking off the tasting from 7:30pm, so please arrive by then at the latest. The bar is open from 6pm, so you are welcome (neigh, encouraged!) to arrive early for a drink before we get going - we have wines available by the glass, as well as a short cocktail list.

Happy Hour 6-7pm

Good news if you’re heading to us strait from work - we’ll have a few juicy little offers on drinks for those of you who arrive early!

Food

Tickets include a snack plate for your table of bread, olives & cheese. If you’d like to make more of a dinner of things, we’ll also have some other small plates you can order from the menu.
Dietary requirements can be catered for - please inform us at time of booking.

The Communal Table

At our first event, after the wine started flowing, people started chatting to the tables next to them - and we loved the vibe! So the communal table is an opportunity to do just that - join alone or with friends - this table will be served as a group and the prompts are an opportunity to chat with others.

Additional Info

SPILL is great night for a good catch-up with friends, and it also a makes a very fun date night!

Folks of all genders welcome.

Any other Qs, please get in touch at feministwinebar@gmail.com

Spill FAQs

  • No problemo - we’ll give you an extra glass of one of the others - it’s really helpful to know this in advance though so please incude a note at booking or drop us an email ahead of the event if you can.

  • Ha, no! Well, not unless you want to! We are including a communal table at this event for people who may wish to meet new people.

  • No! Not at all! The conversation prompts are a little bit of fun to get the conversation flowing in some fun and interesting directions as the wine flows.

  • Yes! You’re very welcome to join for Spill and not drink alcohol - depending on how many people are drinking 0% at a particular event, we will either offer 4 non-alc wines, or a combination of wines and cocktails.

Please inform us at booking if anyone in your party is not drinking alcohol, as unfortunately due to the logistics of running small events we cannot guarantee 0% options if we are not informed in advance

Book your tickets!

Earlybird tickets available for £40 per person until Wednesday 14th June.

What’s the Feminist Wine Bar?

The F.W.B is somewhere to come and have a good time with friends & lovers while drinking fun & interesting wines, and also hopefully somewhere to be inspired, and have interesting conversations and new experiences.

Behind the scenes, it also refers to the fact we’re aiming to run on a feminist biz model, and we’re also centering women as customers when making decisions about how things run.
